Being a Better Me

   
 

 


 

 

There is always something in life, we want to be better at.

Becoming better at something requires some changes in how we Think, Feel and Act.

During this topic the children explore the thoughts and feelings that help up become better a something.  They study the habits of an Australian Champion to gain an understanding of the types of habits that are needed to succeed.

We Think in Pictures

   
     

Now that we know in order to be better at something we have to change the way we think, feel and act, we will look at how we think first.

During this topic the children explore how we think in pictures and we learn how to control and change our thoughts. More info on the inventor of the Stick Person.

What are Habits

   
     

Habits are the learnt behaviours we were taught from the time we were born.  Some of these habits are good and some are not so good.

During this topic the children explore how habits are formed and how we can change them to be more positive.

Talking to Myself (Affirmations)

   
     

What we hear is very powerful.  We we say to ourselves is even more powerful.

During this topic the children learn about the power of affirmations and look at their own language.

Being ME

   
     

We make choices everyday.  We can even choose our feelings. We don't have to stay grumpy, we can choose to be Happy!

During this topic the children learn about how they choose their feelings and how they can make more positive choices.  This topic also covers how to make new friends.

Goals

   
     

Having goals will keep us "on track" with what we want to achieve or become better at doing.
